To be an effective leader, motivating, supporting, training and developing staff
· To be responsible for quality control in all areas
· To be responsible for health and safety standards across the practice
· to maximise marketing effectiveness at a local level
· To ensure that the sale and supply of spectacles and Contact Lenses only takes place under the supervision of a registered optician for children under the age of 16 years and those who are registered sight impaired (partially sighted) or severely sight impaired (blind)
Experience of driving business performance such as sales, customer satisfaction and cost efficiencies
· Flexibility – able to be flexible on days worked and provide cover to other practices
