Child & Family Advanced Practitioner
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £42.00 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team in Tewkesbury as an Advanced Practitioner. In this pivotal role, you'll help deliver first-class services that create the best outcomes for children and young people across Gloucestershire.
What You'll Do
* Manage a protected caseload of children and young people with complex needs, risks, and challenging circumstances
* Lead and support quality control and improvement activities within the team and wider service
* Support performance management to drive service excellence
* Work flexibly in a hybrid model: office for visits and duty service, home for admin tasks
* Ensure all children are seen face-to-face unless COVID confirmed
* Help build team cohesion by being more office-based during your initial period
* Use a provided laptop and smartphone to stay connected and work efficiently
