Avondale Foods is a leading food manufacturing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses including Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Dunnes, Morrisons, Aldi & Lidl throughout the UK & Ireland. We require an evening Office Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across office spaces, kitchen and breakout areas, public/common areas and toilet facilities within a busy factory environment. HOURS OF WORK: MON-FRI PER WEEK) Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitise office areas, including desks, meeting/board rooms, floors, bins and touchpoints. Clean kitchen and break areas, including worktops, sinks, appliances, tables & chairs, floors and waste bins. Maintain cleanliness of public/common areas such as corridors, entranceways, stairwells, windows (inside) and waiting areas. Clean and disinfect toilet and washroom facilities, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors and consumables. Refill consumables such as soap, paper towels, toilet roll and sanitiser. Empty bins throughout the office buildings. Carry out sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping down of surfaces as required. Report any maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the HR team. Follow all site health & safety procedures and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored securely and properly maintained. Contribute to the development of a culture of Integrity, collaboration do the right thing approach in all interactions. Ensure Food Safety compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements to remain audit-ready at all times. Essential Criteria Minimum 1 years previous cleaning experience required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliability and punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow health & safety and COSHH guidelines. Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including bending, lifting and standing for long periods. References must be provided Desirable Criteria Cleaning experience in a commercial, industrial or factory environment preferred. Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
