The Opportunity: Apprentice Kitchen Sales Designer
We are seeking talented individuals to join our award-winning apprenticeship scheme and help drive our business forward. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and support from a leading training provider while pursuing a Level 3 Fitted Furniture Design Technician Apprenticeship, typically spanning 12 to 15 months.
Responsibilities:
* Learn to turn builders and clients' dream kitchens into reality by visiting their homes, listening to ideas, evaluating needs, and designing inspirational kitchens.
* Plan, design, and sell kitchens using the company’s range of products with excellent customer service.
* Develop long-term relationships with customers from the building trade and their clients.
* Visit sites to measure and evaluate customer needs.
* Utilize Howdens' 'My Kitchen' service to create and view high-quality images.
* Process estimates, pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements accurately.
You will use your own vehicle during business hours, with travel expenses reimbursed.
Requirements:
* Passion for sales and customer service, with strong communication skills.
* Interest and flair for design.
* Ability to build relationships and work autonomously.
* Good planning and organizational skills.
* Target-driven attitude and desire for continuous personal development.
* Right to work in the UK and a valid driving license (learning to drive may be considered).

The Apprenticeship:
* Fitted Furniture Design Technician - Advanced Apprenticeship
* Training from our in-house Learning & Development Team and external providers.
* 15-month program, including at least 12 months of learning and an end-point assessment.
* Support for achieving Level 2 English and maths if needed.
