Job Summary
We are a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated team based in offices in Frimley, Surrey. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join us to support the team in the day to day running of the company.
The post holder will take responsibility for day to day finance transactions including payments and raising invoices, collating data both for internal and external use and providing management information.
The role requires a good communication and problem solving skills in order to deal with a variety of tasks. The individual will need to work as part of a team but also have the confidence to work on their own and use their initiative.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities And Duties May Include The Following:
Managing the preparation of payments to practices and suppliers
Keeping accurate and orderly documentation to support financial transactions such as journals and payments within the financial system (Xero).
Reconciling bank transactions on a regular basis
Raising invoices for income due and recharges for services provided by the Federation/PCN to other NHS organisations.
Acting as the first point of contact for invoice and payment queries.
Updating the Primary Care Workforce Portal each month to support the reimbursement process for the Additional Roles employed by the PCN and prepare the appropriate invoices.

Maintaining information relating to costs for the Additional Roles posts on a monthly basis
Bookkeeping support to practices as necessary
Supporting the preparation of ad hoc financial information to support business decision making
Checking and preparing timesheets for inclusion in the monthly payroll

We are Surrey Heath Community Providers Limited, which is a federation of 7 GP practices across 10 sites, covering a population of over 104,000 patients across Surrey Heath. We began in 2016 and now employ around 200 members of staff across our head office sites, and our primary care and unplanned care services.
