The role: You will be working as part of the PwC Operate business, supporting clients across various sectors including IT, energy, groceries, and aerospace. The team delivers cost-effective operational solutions from multiple locations, serving a diverse client base from startups to large corporations and government agencies.
What your days will look like:
The services provided by the SC&O team include:
* Procurement: Supporting clients in market analysis, requirements management, and procurement processes from initiation to contract award.
* Contract and Supplier Management: Managing contracts, improving supplier relationships, risk assessment, and compliance analysis.
* Category Management: Designing strategies and plans to enhance market engagement and value delivery.
* Supply Chain Management: Managing and analyzing supply chains to identify improvements.
Additional services include spend analysis, procurement maturity assessment, fraud analytics, cost modeling, and more.
The Manager role involves leading client delivery, stakeholder engagement, resourcing, risk management, and driving business development. Mentoring team members is also part of the role.
This role is for you if:
* You have 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, especially in IT procurement and contract management.
* Experience with public sector regulations and procurement acts is desirable.
* You demonstrate commitment to excellence, relationship-building skills, analytical thinking, integrity, and teamwork.
Location: Based in Belfast, Cardiff, or Birmingham with some home working. Travel may be required.
