Prepare and cook meals as per the menu and special requests while adhering to food safety standards. Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and skill development. Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and develop new recipes. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock rotation. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with catering for events and private functions as required by the restaurant. Handle any customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction. Participate in the scheduling of kitchen staff and workflow management.
