Our Clinical Leads work inclusively within our multi-disciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes, support quality improvement standards and support the education and well-being of our diverse nursing team. You will represent high quality nursing care and demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 Cs in practice: Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
The posts will be part of the CYP Integrated Eating Disorder Unit within Ancora House, part of the Tier 4 CHEDS Eating Disorder Service. CHEDS is a regional outpatient service offering evidence-based treatment approaches to 13–18-year-olds and their families/carers. The service provides Tier 4 gatekeeping for young people with eating disorders requiring inpatient admission across Cheshire and Merseyside.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality nursing care and contribute to quality improvement within a multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver practical meal support, high-level physical health observations under MEED, medication management, care planning and risk assessments, and therapeutic interventions.
* Support the delivery of responsive, evidence-based, recovery-focused care to service users.
* Participate in staffing across a 24-hour rota, including night shifts; flexible and part-time working requests will be considered.
* Engage with young people with eating disorders and their families, delivering specialist assessments and evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications and Experience
* Skilled and experienced clinical lead with an interest in working with young people with eating disorders and their families.
* Relevant training and experience in the field.
* Current RMN (Band 5 or 6) with readiness to undertake the next step in role development.
* Ability to work within CHEDS/Ancora and a multi-disciplinary team to deliver care.

Additional Information
All new starters commence on one fixed start date each month in line with the Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme, which includes up to 3 weeks of training.
