Job Description: Multi Skilled Engineer at Equans
Equans is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at the University of Cambridge on a permanent basis. This full-time role involves working 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive engineering support, maintain building infrastructure, and have a detailed understanding of Building Services systems and safety procedures. Responsibilities include working alongside the lead engineer to ensure high-quality work, safety compliance, and maintaining uptime criteria.
Responsibilities
1. Understand and implement site contingency plans for emergencies.
2. Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and operations of equipment according to best practices, with flexibility for outside normal hours.
3. Keep lead engineers informed about safety, plant performance, and customer circumstances.
4. Assist in producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
5. Report incidents and accidents, including near misses, via the AIMS Portal.

Candidate Requirements
* Apprenticeship or primary trade qualifications with substantial experience in building services; LV Authorised.
* C&G Parts 1 and 2 or equivalent.
* Proficient IT skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, diagnose faults, and communicate effectively.
* Full clean UK driving license.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check, including barred list checks.
