Could you step into a pivotal HR leadership role?
We're looking for a Head of HR with the confidence and credibility to operate effectively between people and policy — someone who can apply sound judgement, influence at senior level, and deliver results with professionalism. Our current Head of HR is retiring, and we're looking for a successor ready to take ownership of a critical role in the business.
About the role
You'll work confidently across the Boardroom and our sites from Carlisle to Birmingham, translating business strategy into a strong, effective people agenda — and ensuring our culture supports commercial outcomes.
You'll know when policy provides the answer, and when a pragmatic, legally sound solution is required. You'll bring balance: firm where needed, flexible where appropriate. Our small but highly effective HR team is based in Crewe, Cheshire.
This is a full time office based role (37.5 hours), 5 days a week in Crewe Head Office. Salary DOE, range £60-80K.
