Role: Sales & Trade Counter Advisor
Location: Hertford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £14.50 an hour, weekly pay
Temporary to Permanent opportunity
Immediate Start Available
Responsibilities
* Handle customer enquiries via email, phone, and in person at the trade counter.
* Process and put together accurate sales orders using computer systems.
* Provide friendly, efficient service to both new and existing customers.
* Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth order flow.
* Assist with stock enquiries and product selection when needed.
* Contribute to promotions and sales activities in-store and online.
Requirements
* Previous experience within sales order processing
* Previous experience in B2B sales (wholesale, builders\' merchants, or garden/DIY sheds)
* Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in person
* Highly organised and attention to detail
* Team Player
* An interest in horticulture or plants is desirable
