Position Title: College Services Coordinator, St Andrews College Cambridge
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
Overview
This role is a key front-facing position within the college, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and external partners. The postholder will perform a varied role, combining reception and admissions administration with the coordination of key student programmes, trips, and events, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the college and enhancing the overall student experience.
Highly organised and people-focused, the successful candidate will manage multiple priorities, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and play an active role in promoting college activities and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Reception
• Act as the primary point of contact for students, visitors, parents, and contractors at our site on Bateman Street.
• Provide front-of-house support to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment and manage reception duties, including visitor sign-in, and general enquiries
Admissions Administration
• Support the admissions process through administrative coordination and record-keeping, from enquiry through to offered
• Liaise with prospective students, families, and internal staff as required
• Support with student visit coordination.
• Maintain accurate admissions data and documentation
TEC Programme Coordination
• Coordinate the TEC programme in collaboration with Agents and TEC leaders
• Create and manage programme schedules and documentation
• Organise associated trips, catering, boarding arrangements, and logistics
• Liaise closely with the Head, DHA, and DHP to ensure smooth delivery
Trips & Activities
• Coordinate College trips, including promotion, advance bookings, and administration
• Support and promote Boarding House activities
Events & Visits
• Organise and support with end-to-end college events, including FAM trips and visits
• Coordinate logistics, communications, and visitor arrangements
• Provide on-the-day event support as required
Other Administration support
• Assist with the administration of detentions, ensuring accurate records and communication

Experience
• Previous experience in a reception or administration role
• Demonstrated experience coordinating events, programmes, or trips (including management of multiple events at once)
• Familiarity with admissions processes or student services
