Overview
Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse role at TipTopJob in Hook, Hampshire. You will be working as an RMN or RNLD nurse in an exceptional mental health service, supporting patients through a full treatment programme and discharge pathway towards community-based placement.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC PIN.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder.
* Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement.
* Follow all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice.
* Contribute to patient assessments, compile a plan of care with the individual, and monitor patient progress.
* At a more senior level, lead shifts as well as mentor and support student nurses and other members of the team.
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified RMN or RNLD with a current active NMC PIN.
* Excellent teamwork and a high level of self-motivation.
* Flexible approach and commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice.
* Desire to continually develop professionally.
Employment Details
* Salary: GBP 36,296 – GBP 39,511.68 per annum DOE.
* Permanent, full-time positions with opportunities for day and night shifts.
