Job overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to designated ward managers. This is a key role within our team, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations across clinical ward and supporting both management, clinical and frontline staff.
Main duties of the job
Primary point of contact for a range of professional levels.
Representing ward staff or managers at appropriate meetings, reporting back accordingly.
Manage the administrative process for the recruitment and orientation of new ward staff
Keep accurate records of vacancies
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all staff
Establishing good work relationships with external companies.
Uploading information on trust intranet and internal shared drives as required
Record and respond to all enquiries and requests on behalf of ward managers and clinical support, and administrative manager, and personally act upon them when appropriate.
Provide professional support and stability to Ward Managers Line management of a team of ward clerks, overseeing both their performance and ongoing development.
