About the role:
Our business is growing fast and we need an Account Manager based in Germany to develop the Bug-A-Salt market in Europe. We’re established with smaller retailers in Europe and we want to build on this success.
This is a permanent position reporting to New Zealand and working from an office in the Ruhrgebiet. Initially, this will be a sole charge role (with support from NZ), but we will grow the team in Germany to support our European customers. Your main responsibilities will be:
* Manage key accounts with European retailers
* Business development throughout Europe
* You will spend around 60% of your time working from the office and 40% travelling
* Liaise with the team in NZ, including regular phone calls with your manager and the sales support team (you will need to work some evenings).
For this role you will need:
* A self-motivated person who is comfortable working autonomously and who is driven to get results
* A confident, outgoing personal style
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience selling directly to retailer customers
* Proficiency in both English and German (C1 to C2 level)
* Strong results-focus and willing to do anything to support customers
* Experience at trade fairs
* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
