Youll be responsible for managing costs from early design stages through to completion, ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards while delivering value for clients and maintaining company profitability.Key Responsibilities:Preparing tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantitiesUndertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance worksSupporting feasibility studies and client requirementsManaging risk, value engineering, and cost controlAdvising on procurement strategyPreparing and analysing tender costingsAllocating work to subcontractorsManaging contractual claims and reporting progressValuing completed works and arranging paymentsMaintaining knowledge of current building contracts and H&S regulationsEssential Requirements:Qualifications:Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalentExperience:Minimum 3 years post-qualification experienceStrong background in maintenance and minor works contractsExperience managing high-volume work orders alongside planned projectsGood understanding of Schedule of Rates and measured term contractsPersonal Attributes:Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailEffective negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under pressureSelf-motivated and capable of working independently and within a teamFull UK driving licenceIf this sounds of interest, or if you know someone suitable, Id be happy to discuss further.Skills:Strong negotiation communication skills Ability to work unWHJS1_NI
