We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and practically skilled Design Technology ECT to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified DT Teacher looking to begin their career within a highly supportive, forward-thinking and well-resourced school environment.
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will deliver creative, hands-on and technically rich lessons across KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5. The DT department is extremely well resourced, featuring modern workshops, CAD/CAM tools, 3D printers, laser cutters and specialist machinery. The team is collaborative, experienced and committed to developing new teachers.

Experience and Qualifications
* Degree in Design Technology or a related field
* PGCE with QTS
* Training to teach DT to KS3/4 (KS5 an advantage)
* Strong practical skills and workshop safety understanding
