National Account Manager: Asda FC 12 month contract What you become a part of: If you are successful, you will become an integral part of a fast-paced and high-energy team within the Retail environment. You will be accountable for constructing and implementing a joint business plan that will ensure account growth aligned to the wider GDE channel plan. You will be accountable for the FC portfolio in our second biggest Grocery account, working alongside multiple functions to deliver key business metrics. What to expect: The role covers the development of a collaborative business plan with customers and support in the construction and negotiation of commercial terms. You will control expenditure and the implementation of an effective promotional plan for your portfolios, have P&L accountability, manage the introduction of NPD and play a key role in the delivery of the JBP. It will be your responsibility to maximise return on investment through all customer linked expenditure. You will liaise closely with your internal stakeholders across category, activation, supply chain, finance and RGM to lead and deliver the annual business plan. What we expect of you: Knowledge of the Retail environment is useful, but not essential to this role. Previous commercial and customer management experience is required for this role to enable you to build strong customer relationships quickly which will facilitate the delivery of the Joint Business Plan. To be successful you need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be forward thinking, use your own initiative yet work with the team to shape the account, have a drive for achievement, be results orientated and have high levels of commercial awareness. You will have strong analytical skills, be a confident presenter and self- motivated to succeed. Excellent relationship building skills are required for day to day interactions and collaborative working with the customer & aligning to the wider team. The ability to challenge internal and external stakeholders and focus on sharing best practice that are results orientated.
