Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Document Controller to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis. This will be for an initial 6 months.
Takes responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
* Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
* Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
* Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
* Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
* Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
* Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
* Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent.
* Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge / experience to the same standard).
* Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.
