Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated, patient and resilient education professionals to provide flexible supply cover within a specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit.
This highly specialised setting supports pupils where all learners have either an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) diagnosis or a formal statement of additional learning needs. Every day is different, and the role can be challenging — but it is also incredibly rewarding.

* Sensory processing differences
* Social communication difficulties
* Emotional regulation and behavioural needs
* Possible co‑occurring SEMH needs
Pupils may require high levels of structure, routine, patience and emotional reassurance. Some days will test your resilience and adaptability — no two days are the same — but the progress you support, even in small steps, can be life‑changing.
We welcome applicants with relevant experience, including:
* Experience working with pupils with ASD, SEND or ALN
* Experience in SEN schools, specialist units or alternative provisions
* Backgrounds in education, care, youth work or support roles
Essential requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* EWC registration (Education Workforce Council)
* A resilient, proactive and flexible approach
* Ability to adapt to changing needs and environments
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
