We’re excited to announce multiple openings for passionate tutors to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND)!
At Targeted Provision, we believe in transforming the educational landscape for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD). This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are eager to engage in 1:1 tutoring, using creative and trauma-informed approaches to inspire and uplift students on their educational journeys.

Your Role as a SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, guiding them through their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Utilize flexible and holistic approaches to tutoring and mentoring, tailored to each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored sessions that engage and support each student’s learning journey.
* Provide holistic and interactive learning experiences that foster both educational and social-emotional growth.
* Complete lesson reports and offer constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
*
Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
*
Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
*
DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
*
References: Two professional references needed.
*
Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote roles.
It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position is a Worker engagement, providing short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
