More about your role
This a varied and interesting role, as Duty Manager/Lead Instructor you will wear many hats! Such as managing, recruiting and training staff, dealing with customer's concerns, driving our commercial success, preparing reports and attending meetings. You will represent Places Leisure, and you will need to be a motivated individual who will take on responsibility to lead a team and ensure the efficient day to day running of the centre through a clear process of focusing on people, safety, service and standards. Deliver exceptional ski lessons to our visitors covering a wide range of ages and abilities. Act as a Mentor to our trainee instructors and recreation assistants as required. Assist in the delivery of our annual Maintenance Plan.
You will need a flexible approach to work being open to working shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

More about you
You will be a brilliant conversationalist and develop excellent relationships with new and existing customers. Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering Snowsports lessons to all levels and ages, hold an up-to-date recognised Snowsports Instructor qualification. Have a passion for delivering safe and enjoyable sessions to aid in our customers learning journey. Understand the importance of and deliver great customer service. Have a flexible approach to working patterns in a 7 day a week business (including working both evenings and weekends patterns). As a Duty Manager you will become one of our registered first aiders and therefore first aid experience would set you apart from other candidates.
Essential that you hold a Minimum of a UK Snowsports Level 1 Ski Instructor qualification and an up to date First Aid Qualification.
