Job Title: Sustainability Assistant/Lead

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies for construction projects, including BREEAM assessment and certification.
* Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Provide guidance and support to project managers and site teams on sustainable construction practices, materials, and technologies.
* Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon emissions, to track progress and identify areas for optimization.
* Engage with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to promote a culture of sustainability and foster partnerships for innovative solutions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Engineering, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in BREEAM assessment and ESG practices are highly desirable.
* Proven experience in sustainability roles within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of BREEAM standards and sustainable building practices.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to inform decision-making.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive mindset and a passion for driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
