I am seeking a highly skilled Contract Global Program Manager to join a dynamic Program Management team within a leading,
Global pharma. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping drug development strategies, enabling impactful decision‑making, and driving cross‑functional teams toward delivering transformative medicines. The Global Program Manager acts as a core strategic partner to therapy area teams, enabling high‑quality program delivery across the development lifecycle. You will guideplex, cross‑functional programs, support evidence planning activities, and influence oues without formal authority through strong collaboration and relationship building.
In this role, you will drive drug development programs to maximise efficiency, portfolio value, and patient benefit. You will provide strategic program management by framing options, identifying risks and inflection points, assessing scenarios, and guidingernance decisions. Close partnership with team leaders is essential to shape and execute program strategy.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining high‑performing, trusted teams with openmunication and effective ways of working. This includes facilitating key meetings and workshops, ensuring clarity of objectives and deliverables, and enabling alignment across functions. You will collaborate extensively with teams across clinical development, regulatory, medical affairs,mercial, and other strategic partners.
The role also includes contributing to enterprise‑level initiatives, maintaining high-quality program information for portfolio-level decisions, and supporting standards, tools, and best practices across the program managementmunity. You will drive risk identification, mitigation planning, scenario analysis, and implementation of program strategies, leveraging scientific, clinical, and market insights to accelerate decision-making.
This is a 12-month initial contract, (out of scope) you will need to be based in the UK, with a relevant work visa, currently working as a Clinical Programme Manager and available within 1 month. This is a hybrid position.
