Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Knowsley, Liverpool to work on a long-term basis.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a setting that values every child’s potential.
The school is seeking a patient, nurturing individual who can provide consistent support, keep the child focused, and help meet their individual learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing resources, supporting daily tasks, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Provide general support to the class and on a one-to-one basis
2. Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
3. Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
4. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Essential Qualifications:
5. Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting or similar sector with a passion working with children.
6. Must be qualified in Peadeatric First Aid
7. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
8. Experience and strong knowledge of Phonics
9. Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills
11. Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
