We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Pre- school assistant to join our team to work in a lovely village pre-school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting and will have the ability to take room lead when needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a group of children effectively, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, maintaining a clean and organised nursery environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and development.

Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while managing a team of support staff or volunteers as required.

Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with nursery policies and procedures.

Drive initiatives that enhance the overall nursery experience for both children and staff.

Requirements

Level 3 CACHE qualification related to Childcare or Early Years.

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.

A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education, coupled with the ability to manage diverse groups of children effectively.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Must be able to drive or have easy access to remote locations with limited public transport
