The role of Graduate Quantity Surveyor is to assist in administration and management ofcosts and contracts relating to projects. The role may involve all aspects of work from the initial tender tofinal account and close out, seeking to minimise the costs and enhance value for money whilst achievingthe required standards and quality. This role will work under the close direction and supervision of amore senior quantity surveyor.
About the project:
Costain are working with Thames Water on a variety of water and wastewater projects and have fantastic opportunities for individuals to join our growing AMP8 delivery team, working predominantly across the Thames Valley and Thames South regions. There is a mix of projects ranging from smaller capital maintenance to large civil new build schemes.
Costain Graduate Development Programme:
Our programme will focus on helping individual to learn a mix of both Leadership and Technical skills. We offer a structured training programme to enable graduates to work towards achieving Chartership in their chosen field.
Graduates may also have the opportunity, after the first 8 – 10 months to rotate and to work on a number of exciting and progressive projects around the UK during the 2-year period, experiencing the best we have to offer across the different sectors we work in.
Our line managers are fully supportive of the Graduate Development Programme and will be involved in helping you along the way.
