Teacher of Personal Development & Health and Social Care – Full Time
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school to appoint a committed and inspiring Teacher of Personal Development and Health & Social Care for a full-time position.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to supporting young people’s personal growth, wellbeing, and preparation for adult life, alongside delivering engaging and relevant Health & Social Care content.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Teaching Personal Development and Health & Social Care across the secondary age range
* Delivering a curriculum that supports PSHE, citizenship, careers education, safeguarding awareness, and life skills
* Planning and delivering engaging, accessible, and well-structured lessons
* Marking, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
* Promoting positive behaviour, resilience, and personal responsibility
* Supporting students’ understanding of health, wellbeing, relationships, and society
* Working collaboratively within a supportive and inclusive department
* Contributing to wider school duties and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
* A qualified teacher (QTS preferred)
* Experience or strong subject knowledge in Personal Development, PSHE, Health & Social Care, or related subjects
* Passionate about pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and personal growth
* Able to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
* Committed to inclusive practice and high standards of teaching and learning
* ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
