Responsibilities
* Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered, ready for delivery to their doorsteps, or providing substitutions when products are out of stock.
* Using a handheld device to plan routes around the store, identify what to select and manage time for each shop.
* Assist with customer queries, process orders and help load vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
* Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and proactively offer help.
* Build strong knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
* Work flexibly across the store as required and be comfortable with early starts (many shifts start at 4am) in a fast-paced, physical environment, often working independently but also thriving as part of a team.
* Be friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
* Be proactive in solving problems, taking responsibility for tasks, and using initiative in a high-energy environment.
* Be willing to learn new skills and receive full training in a variety of areas to enable development and new responsibilities.
* Be comfortable learning and using new digital tools and technology, and moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.
* Maintain great attention to detail, keeping the store clean and organized to create the best shopping experience for customers.
