The team deals with all aspects of Bernicia’s new homes development programme. The role of Development Officer is post contract and will involve; * Contributing to the success of the development team through the delivery of the new homes development programme. * Contributing to all aspects of development work including attending project meetings, dealing with handover of new homes, supporting PR activities and post completion scheme evaluation. * Supporting the delivery and the effective handover of all new homes. * Providing administrative support in relation to reporting on the post completion performance of schemes and internal controls, procedures and industry best practice. * Preparing and coordinating information in accordance with all operational policies and procedures and all statutory, legislative and regulatory obligations. * Administering the Homes England IMS system and liaise with partners as required. * Undertaking post completion reviews. * Co-ordinating checks at the end of the agreed defects period. * Managing the commercial non-operational assets, ensuring all contractual obligations are met; asset value is protected and enhanced; contribute to the development of plans for the optimum use of assets in the medium to longer term. About you: You’ll need: * Experience in service delivery within a housing development delivery environment. * Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team. * Experience of research, analysis and report writing. * Ability to use judgement and take ownership of decision making. * Resilient and able to work under pressure. * A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes.
