We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded People Partner to join a well-established and trusted brand with manufacturing sites in Wakefield.This is a highly influential role where you’ll partner closely with senior business leaders, providing coaching, insight and challenge to drive performance, grow talent and lead people through change. You’ll play a critical role in delivering people plans and pragmatic, commercially focused HR solutions as part of one People team.You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment, working with colleagues at all levels while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.You’ll be instrumental in shaping the people agenda, driving high performance and ensuring an excellent employee experience across the site.Key Responsibilities:Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with business and manufacturing objectivesSupport workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent developmentUse people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve performance outcomesContribute to wider HR initiatives and transformation projects across the businessLead on complex employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues, whilst coaching and upskilling line managers to build confidence and capability in people managementBuild strong, credible relationships with managers, employees and union/employee representatives (where applicable)Work closely with HR Centres of Excellence (Reward, Talent, Learning & Development, Resourcing, ER)Support the local implementation of group-wide HR policies, programmes and initiatives, acting as the conduit between the site and central HR functions, ensuring alignment and consistencyContribute to site productivity, engagement and retention through people-focused solutions, promoting a culture of fairness, inclusion and high performancePrevious Experience:Proven experience as an HR / People Business Partner supporting senior stakeholders in an FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail or Distribution environmentA strong HR generalist background with experience of leading and coaching leadersDemonstrable experience of driving and supporting change in complex, operational settingsExperience working collaboratively with Trade Unions and/or colleague forums at site or depot levelBroad and deep HR knowledge, with credibility as a trusted advisor to senior leadersThis is a permanent role based on-site in Wakefield 5 days per week, offering circa £60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus car or car allowance.If you are interested in this opportunity please apply now!
