We're on the hunt for aCustomer Assistant/Delivery Driverto join the team in our new branch inSwindon, who's as passionate about great service as we are!

Working Hours:40hrs per week -7.30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

Key Responsibilities
This is a multi-skilled role covering all areas of our branch, from customer service, warehouse and delivery driving, giving you opportunity to learn and develop within the team.
* Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our JPS values
* Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions
* Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, manage stock control and keep customers updated throughout their journey
* Pick and prepare customer orders in our warehouse, load and unload customer and delivery vehicles
* Deliver and unload orders to our customers sites, using a 3.5t van in and around the Swindon area
* Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
* Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts and rotations
* Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Required Skills and Experience
* Valid UK manual driving license (no more than 6 points) is a requirement of this role
* Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
* Experience in a customer facing environment
* IT literate and a strong communicator
* Passion for working with people with a positive can-do attitude
