On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a HSE Specialist - Inside IR35 for a 3 Month contract (with possible extension) based Hybrid - Remote & 3 days p/week in Swindon or any office location along the Wales & Western Route.

As a HSE Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to:
* Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters across local teams and worksites.
* Conduct risk-based inspections and support audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
* Assist line management with incident investigations, evidence collection, and safety assurance processes.
* Support the development and review of risk assessments, safety checks, and site tours.
* Contribute to data collection and analysis for workforce HSE performance and supplier contract documentation.
You'll have:
* Demonstrable Health, Safety & Environmental report writing skills.
* Experience of carrying out safety investigations & risk assessments.
* NEBOSH qualification.
* Strong IT skills.
* Rail or Construction experience - desirable.
