ACS International Schools are recruiting a BTEC Business and Entrepreneurship Teacher to join our Egham campus from August 2025.

Job Purpose:

ACS International School Egham are looking to recruit a passionate, innovate and experienced teacher to join one of the most exciting High School programmes in the UK. ACS Egham are one of only two UK schools to offer all four IB programmes. This role would join an experienced team to work on our IB Career Related Programme (IBCP) which has a focus on Business and Entrepreneurship.

Applicants will be actively involved in our Business at School Programme or developing our entrepreneur in residence programme, which supports students to start their own businesses.

Students complete a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma alongside some IB Diploma Courses. The IBCP is an exciting course that provides students with an opportunity to balance academic study with authentic business experience. We work with global and local businesses to provide internships and mentoring; as well as inspirational business leaders who help guide our students on their journey toward Higher Education or starting their own careers.

We’ve been teaching the IB at ACS for over fifty years, and our experience means we know how best to teach it. We know it gets results – and that’s why we offer the IB as our sole offering, orienting the entire school around its optimal delivery. Many of our teachers are IB examiners, meaning they know exactly how to help children to excel.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

* Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject or a Bachelor of Education
* A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/PGDE/QTS/valid Teaching Licence)
* A minimum of two years’ post qualifying teaching experience
* Experience teaching BTEC Business Studies
* Experience of/willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
* Demonstrable positive and tolerant outlook, enthusiasm for teaching and
good understanding of behaviours of the relevant age group
* Fluent in both verbal and written English
* Experience of teaching in an international school is desirable
* Commitment to excellence in education
* Understanding of and commitment to the Mission, Aims and Values of ACS International Schools
* A collaborative approach to team working
* Positive personality, with the ability to judge the appropriate balance of support and challenge that individual young people need in order to thrive.
