We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year post graduation experience, who is looking to further develop their skills in a collaborative and design-focused environment.
You’ll be involved in a range of projects across various sectors, supporting the design and technical development of architectural plans, producing detailed drawings in both Revit and AutoCAD, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.
This is a full time, office based position (SP2 7RB).
Job Description
You will be working under the guidance of experienced senior team members to support the design and technical aspects of various architectural projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience and develop your skills in a collaborative, creative, and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the preparation of design proposals, drawings, and presentations for client meetings and project proposals.
* Preparing detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, using Revit, and other relevant software.
* Collaborating with other team members on the development of design concepts and solutions.
* Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and technical reports.
* Engaging in site visits and assisting with on‑site project coordination.
* Participating in project team meetings and design workshops.
* Researching building regulations, standards, and construction methods.
* Contributing to the creation of project boards, mood boards, and other visual materials for client presentations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Revit (essential), and other architectural design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
* Relevant Undergraduate/Postgraduate Degree.
* Good understanding of architectural design principles and construction techniques.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate ideas clearly.
* Strong visual, presentation, and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
* A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
