Role Purpose: Working in the Real Estate Accounting Services team where the individual will be responsible for a range of service charge work across a varied client property portfolio
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with our third-party partners to ensure closure of annual service charge reconciliations across a variety of complex assets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLAs. Role will require a variation of:
Reviewing income demanded in the year and ensuring all occupiers are correctly billed
Reviewing Tenant apportionment and undertaking CAP calculations
Reviewing expenditure to ensure it has been coded correctly in line with budget
Calculating, recommending, and posting accruals and prepayments
Case Managing the Service Charge end to end process for assigned allocation
Assisting our internal stakeholders with closing off annual property budgets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLAs:
Preparing reconciliation of clients service charge funds.
Working closely with other teams within REAS to provide exceptional outcomes to our client
Responsible for Training other team members passing on knowledge and skills particularly to new members of staff
Presenting to wider business changes and updates on Service Charge process
Person Specifications / Requirements
Technical understanding of service charges
Sophisticated experience in book keeping
Understanding of Real Estate transactions
