The Resourcing Team plays a central role within the Advice Division, acting as the engine that ensures the right people are in the right place at the right time. Combining resource planning, data insight, and operational support, the team works closely with leadership and operational teams to balance demand, capacity, and capability across the function. From managing helpline coverage to supporting projects and providing critical administrative coordination, the team enables the smooth day‑to‑day running of the division while helping it scale efficiently and respond to changing business needs.
The Resourcing Manager manages a small team responsible for resource planning and oversight, operational efficiency and forecasting for all advice support services across Advice Policy and Operations Teams. The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership to the Team and to liaise with key stakeholders across FMT and Group to ensure delivery of workforce planning, strategic project oversight and operational systems.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading delivery of resource planning and deployment for Advice Policy and Operations ensuring teams are sufficiently resourced
* Providing management and leadership to the Resource Planning and Operational Efficiency Teams
* Being the key relationship manager and SME for the Division’s workforce management systems
* Leading ongoing development of workforce management systems; ensuring they deliver right MI and insights to the Advice Support team
* Liaising with key stakeholders (internal and external) to resolve systems issues, improve functionality and identify new operational solutions for Partner support
* Critically appraising current reporting processes and driving automated or generated ‘self‑serve’ options through system development

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Resource Manager who can ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, enabling teams to deliver effectively. You’ll play a key role in balancing demand, capacity, and capability to keep operations running smoothly across the division.
* Experience leading in an operational environment and ability to lead and motivate team members
* Effective communicator and confident dealing with senior stakeholders in challenging environments
* Excellent time management, planning and organisational skill and able to prioritise a range of tasks for people at various levels and deliver in a timely manner
* Strong analytical skills and ability to present and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
* Experience of people and team management
* Good knowledge of financial services, operational systems, Workforce Management Systems, scheduling and planning tools including Five9 (Telephony)
