The Role
We're working with a leading Fire & Security provider looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their mobile maintenance team covering Glasgow and the West.
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and carrying out PPMs across a portfolio of commercial contracts, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. The role offers a mix of planned and reactive maintenance across fire alarms, emergency lighting, access control, CCTV, and intruder systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out PPMs, servicing, and fault-finding on fire and security systems across commercial sites.
* Diagnose and repair faults across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
* Complete all compliance documentation and service reports accurately.
* Respond to reactive maintenance calls, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
* Work closely with the helpdesk and other engineers to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Adhere to all health and safety and industry regulations.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in Fire & Security service and maintenance (commercial environments).
* Working knowledge of CCTV, intruder, fire alarm, and access control systems.
* Relevant industry qualifications (FIA units, ECS, or equivalent).
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
