Cash Sales Coordinator (12Months Fixed‑term Contract)
We are looking for a Cash Sales Coordinator to join our site in Colchester, Essex. Reporting to the Cash Sales Manager, you will manage cash sales enquiries, input orders for aggregates and asphalt into our system, monitor order progress, and work closely with internal commercial teams to meet service level agreements with customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Cash Sales Manager in achieving targeted sales volumes, pricing and profitability objectives.
* Maintain call accuracy and quality in line with Tarmac standards.
* Proactively manage and influence customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering solutions.
* Raise, price and chase quotes and enquiries.
* Accurately input orders and monitor progress, keeping customers informed of status and any delays.
* Co‑ordinate with distribution and operations teams to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
* Assist in implementing the Cash Sales strategy and capture cross‑sales opportunities across all business units.
* Contribute to the attainment of financial targets set by the Business Unit and Regional management.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities with potential customers.
Qualifications & Skills
No formal qualifications are required. The ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
* High levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong drive, determination and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
* Experience in a sales or customer‑facing role is desirable but not mandatory.
