Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Richmond upon Thames
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time | Term-Time
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a well-respected Special Needs School in Richmond upon Thames. The school supports students with Autism, SEMH, and additional learning needs.
Key Duties:
* Support students with behavioural needs both in and out of the classroom.
* Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
* Encourage and model positive social interaction and emotional regulation.
* Help build student confidence and support their educational journey.
You Should Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs.
* A calm, patient and consistent approach to support.
* A strong sense of empathy and emotional intelligence.
* A willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
