Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the estate.
* Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and removing litter.
* Manage waste disposal processes, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling procedures are followed.
* Conduct regular inspections of buildings and communal areas to identify and report any maintenance issues.
* Assist in coordinating and overseeing repair works carried out by external contractors.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and report any hazards or risks.
* Respond to emergencies, such as leaks or power outages, and take appropriate action to mitigate damage.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
* Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and accounted for.
Key Requirements
* Experience in property maintenance or a related field, preferably within leasehold or residential property management.
* Practical skills in routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to property maintenance.
* Ability to conduct inspections and identify maintenance issues.
* Good communication skills to interact professionally with residents and contractors.
* Flexibility to respond to emergencies and handle unexpected situations.
* Organizational skills to maintain records and manage inventory effectively.
* Team player mentality and willingness to collaborate with property management teams.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining property standards.
