You will be joining the National Park Authority at a pivotal moment as we prepare a new Local Development and Land Use Plan and set priorities to respond to the climate emergency and restore nature.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support delivery of the new Local Development and Land Use Plan, translating national policy, evidence and local priorities into a clear and deliverable spatial land use and development strategy.
* Work collaboratively across the organisation and with a wide range of partners to ensure the strategy supports climate action, nature recovery and high-quality place‑making.
* Provide strategic oversight and practical delivery focus, including mentoring, leadership and continuous improvement within the planning service.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Professionalism, insight and commitment to the National Park Authority.
* Experience in planning, land use or related strategic roles.
* Ability to work across organisations and engage with partners.
