The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated teacher who:
* Has a genuine passion for Computer Science and digital technologies
* Delivers innovative, engaging, and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3–5
* Is keen to contribute to the development of an ambitious and evolving curriculum
* Has the drive to raise attainment and progress for all students
* Is committed to promoting participation in extracurricular opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics, esports, cyber challenges, or STEM initiatives
The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes and fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in our students.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject
* PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge across Computer Science and programming
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
* Experience teaching GCSE and/or A Level Computer Science
* Experience delivering programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
* Involvement in extracurricular STEM or technology-based activities
