LPM Reporting Analyst
The LPM Reporting Analyst will be a strategic partner to lawyers and business services teams, delivering financial insights that drive profitability and improve matter management. This role blends financial analysis, legal operations, and project management.

Core Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Build reports, models, and templates using Excel and legal project management tools.
Monitor budgets and fee structures across legal matters.
Analyse time entry data to ensure accurate workstream allocation.
2. Matter Management
Lead meetings with lawyers to discuss billing, timelines, and matter updates.
Maintain trackers and budget repositories for real-time oversight.
3. Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and automate reporting workflows.
Collaborate across departments to enhance data quality and project execution.
4. Strategic Support
Develop expertise in transactional law and private equity fee structures.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy.
Requirements
5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6. Law firm experience preferred (especially in operations or analytics)
7. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, visualisation)
8. Familiarity with legal financial systems and reporting tools
