A client within the Public Sector based in Lancashireis currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician to join their Building Design Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a Design and Construction environment. The Role Key purpose of the role to provide specialist architectural input into building projects across the County of Lancashire, including the design, specification and project management of schemes from concept through to site delivery. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Produce architectural designs and technical specifications in line with current guidelines, standards, and regulations. Manage building projects through all stages, including planning applications, building regulations, and listed building consent processes. Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery. Provide specialist architectural advice and support to clients, colleagues, and other disciplines within the Design and Construction Service. Ensure that all projects meet performance standards, are delivered on time and within budget, and comply with design and construction regulations. The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require: A relevant degree (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience. Professional qualifications within architecture or technical design. Demonstrated experience in architectural design and delivery.The below skills would be beneficial for the role: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Experience in managing projects to time, cost and quality expectations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to offer technical advice.The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £27 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £21 per hour PAYE).
