Home Oxygen Community Respiratory Nurse Specialist
Join as a Band 6 Home Oxygen Community Respiratory Nurse within our Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service, part of the Mid‑Notts Cardio Respiratory Service. The role involves planning, preparing and supporting the delivery of home oxygen assessment for patients, working both in clinics and in patients’ homes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Plan, prepare and support the delivery of home oxygen assessment to patients in clinics and at home.
* Provide holistic, multidisciplinary support for respiratory patients across the Mid‑Notts area, mainly in Newark & Sherwood.
* Work closely with community teams, primary care and secondary care Respiratory Consultants.
Essential requirements:
* Band 6 nursing qualification.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Pay for DBS check – standard DBS cost £26.40 (deducted from salary over first 2 months); enhanced DBS £54.40.
* Optional enrolment in the DBS Update Service – annual fee £16.
