Role Details
* Position: Support Worker Driver
* Pay Rate: £12.40 Per Hour
* Shifts: Days and Nights
* Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week
Duties Include
* Supporting people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to help achieve positive outcomes as per their support plans.
* Basic daily duties such as medication administration, cooking, cleaning, personal care, and paperwork.
* Providing emotional and practical support.
* Assisting individuals to access community facilities and participate in community groups.
* Building strong relationships to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
* Empowering individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Person Specifications
* Experience in the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience supporting individuals with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care needs, and Challenging Behaviours.
* Knowledge and experience with Autism and Schizoaffective disorder.
* Full UK Manual or Automatic Driving Licence is essential for day shifts.
* Ability to multitask effectively.
* Good time management, organisation, attention to detail, and flexibility.
* IT literacy.
* A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Compassionate, caring, and positive personality.
* Genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
