At Pennsylvania Castle Estate on Portland, we are offering a unique opportunity to assist in delivering our weddings, rentals and events, working alongside our Event Coordinator and Event Manager. The Penn Estate is focused on providing all our guests a luxury experience, which includes bespoke guest services and the coordination of local activities and experiences.
About the Role
Working within the Events Team, the successful candidate will assist with all rentals and events across the Estate.
Key tasks include:
* Supporting the setup and breakdown of events
* Greeting guests
* Working on event enquiries
* Updating our guests' portal to ensure all information is correct
A diligent eye for detail is a must.
Skills & Experience
The Estate is a significant user of digital software, so you should be happy to learn new systems, e.g., booking and project planning platforms.
Whilst some previous event experience would be beneficial, most importantly, we need you to be keen to develop your skills. You will be working directly with high-end clients and, therefore, must be well-presented with strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills.

The main summer season is very intense, so be prepared to get stuck in. Working weekends and bank holidays is usual in this area of the business.
