A newly created Head of Tax opportunity has arisen with a rapidly expanding UK business following significant revenue growth and major contract wins.

The Role:
As Head of Tax, you will take overall ownership of all UK tax matters, managing compliance, risk, and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities include:
6. Leading the UK tax function, covering corporation tax, VAT, and employment tax
7. Reviewing and submitting corporate and partnership tax returns
8. Overseeing tax compliance, planning, and audits
9. Managing relationships with HMRC and external advisers
10. Providing regular updates and strategic tax advice to senior leadership
11. Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
12. Direct management of tax staff with scope to grow the team further
Package:
13. £85,000 to £110,000 Base (DOE)

About You
26. ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ATT qualified
27. Technical expertise across UK tax legislation
28. Experience of the Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) regime
29. Proven record in audits, compliance, and complex tax planning
30. Hands-on approach with the ability to manage and mentor a team
31. Confident influencing senior stakeholders and shaping tax strategy
