The role… The senior epidemiologist position is a great opportunity for a motivated university graduate, postdoctoral associate, or early career professional to develop an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will: Review data from a variety of sources (e.g. published research articles, survey data, cancer registries) to produce descriptive and analytical epidemiology reports for major drug indications. Produce epidemiological reports focusing on the prevalence of specific diseases for primarily G7 and BRIC countries, as well as ad hoc reports for additional countries as required Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of the company’s state-of-the-art epidemiology database Review and enhance the company’s epidemiology database to ensure accuracy and relevance to the indications covered Contribute to mentorship opportunities across the team Liaise with and/or support other company units in developing new products and completing global consulting projects Support the sales team on an ad hoc basis What we’re looking for… Master’s or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or closely-related field 1-3 years’ experience in epidemiological analysis and forecasting Excellent working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and one or more statistical packages (SAS, STATA, SPSS) Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written In addition to a rewarding career, we support our GlobalData Heathcare colleagues with a range of benefits across health, finances, fitness, travel, tech and more.
